USAGE:
ALMENDO CaB prevents and corrects calcium deficiencies in all types of crops. This product contains amino acids and organic acids that complex and mobilize calcium within the plant, increasing its absorption, translocation, and utilization in plant organs.
Calcium is essential throughout all growth stages, from germination to fruit maturity, and contributes to tissue strength, elasticity, and resistance. ALMENDO CaB helps prevent physiological disorders associated with calcium deficiency, such as blossom-end rot (apical necrosis), bitter pit, fruit cracking, and premature ripening. Its application also enhances plant growth rate due to calcium’s key role in protein synthesis.
Calcium is a fundamental component of cell walls and membranes and is directly related to tissue strength, which limits the penetration of pathogenic organisms. It also regulates osmotic balance required for cell expansion, particularly during root growth, and participates in critical physiological processes such as protein synthesis and cell division.
Calcium deficiency typically appears in young leaves and fruits due to their low transpiration rate, making continuous calcium supply essential for sustained growth. The most visible symptoms of calcium deficiency occur in fruits, including blossom-end rot in tomatoes, bitter pit in apples, and fruit cracking.
The use of ALMENDO CaB effectively prevents these disorders, helping to maintain fruit firmness, improve quality, enhance yield, and ensure better post-harvest performance.
